Asset Trace & Recovery (Repossessions)

Dion Neill is licensed to carry out asset recovery and repossession services by the Ministry of Justice in New Zealand. Dion is the agent of choice for a number of New Zealand’s leading financial and lending institutions along with several government agencies.

Dion contracts only licensed repossession agents for all asset tracing and recovery services. Dion will not engage in any repossession activities for private clients or assignments that include the repossession of household chattels or personal property used as security on finance agreements.

Dion established his private security and risk management consultancy, Protective Services, following demands in the market for a service focused, high-level security provider. Dion and his team of contracted security professionals are deployed to provide security for a variety of assignments from movie premieres and red carpet events to private functions and high profile weddings.

The security professionals and risk management consultants who contract to Dion are selected exclusively from the police and military with international experience providing specialised security for people in any environment from the corporate boardroom to private residences.

Credentials

The Neill Group expertise is founded on the experience of Dion, a former member of the New Zealand military and emergency services. Dion provides his clients with the benefit of over 30 years of security risk management, private investigation and para-legal experience.

Dion is a foundation member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Investigators Incorporated (NZIPI) and the Security Institute of New Zealand. Dion is a former Certified Fraud Examiner with a number of recognised qualifications in security, investigations and risk management.

Dion featured on the popular television series, ‘Private Investigators’ and was interviewed on the TVNZ Breakfast programme regarding protecting high-profile people in New Zealand. Dion has spent a number of years conducting covert surveillance, managing undercover operations and hundreds of investigations.

Dion was one of the first licensed private investigators in New Zealand to carry out assignments for the ACC and other government agencies. In the 1980’s, Dion provided evidence in the High Court of New Zealand following a lengthy investigation focusing on a major theft operating within a large multi-national business. Dion’s evidence was key to the successful conviction of over 25 employees and shop owners in the High Court of New Zealand.

Government Licensing

The Neill Group and Protective Services directs all requests from clients for investigation, security and asset recovery services to Dion Neill.

The Neill Group and Protective Services are the trading names of Dion Neill. Dion is a sole trader and a licence holder (individual) issued by the Ministry of Justice as a private investigator, security consultant, repossession agent, personal guard, property guard, crowd controller and confidential document destruction agent.

The Neill Group and Protective Services do not employ staff. Dion only engages contractors (agents and associates) who hold a current certificate of approval or licence issued by the Ministry of Justice to ensure compliance with the Private Security Personnel and Private Investigators Act 2010.

Confidentiality

Our agents (contractors) must sign a confidentiality agreement prior to deployment on any operational assignment. Trust is an important element of our relationship therefore our agents understand the seriousness of breaching this agreement. Our agents have experience working within confidential environments and always respect the privacy of our clients.
