I purchased a grab one deal for a 90 minute Pamper Package for this salon. The experience I received was unprofessional and amateur. I was on time for my appointment and made to wait. The therapist asked me to call her from the room when I was undressed and ready!!...which I did, and then didn't come for several minutes later!!The rooms are dirty with dust and hair as well as cluttered. The rooms have paper thin curtains lacking privacy and you can hear every conversation throughout this small salon. My treatment was done by a therapist (if she is qualified as so amateur) who had long nails that dug into me throughout the back and facial massage. Her massage technique was poor, extremely fast and it hurt! Not relaxing at all.
She left me alone for 15 minutes with a mask on without checking if I was okay. Throughout the duration of this treatment staff talked loudly in a foreign language the whole time, banging and crashing sounds and phones rang.
As an ex salon owner I am appalled at the lack of professionalism and standard this salon operates at.

This is the worst beauty centre I've been to. The woman who greeted me was very rude and did not understand what I was saying. On top of that, during service, she wasn't gentle at all! She left a huge scar on my nose when attempting to remove the blackheads. Also, when she was cleansing my face, she just splashed hot water on my face. And when I say hot, it's boiling hot. Very dissatisfied with everything. I, too would not come again even though I have 8 more treatments with them.

Unprofessional staff, noisy, dirty environment. I paid $89 for 3 sessions. I have had 1 session and will contact Grabone to get my money back. I’d rather spend the money on a proper massage.

I arrived on time but the staff told me to wait for 10 minutes so she could eat her lunch. The bedding was very dirty. During the back massage she kept taking her right hand off my back. although I couldn't see with my face down but from the vibration noise of her smart phone I am pretty sure she was either facebooking or texting. I really like Darphin products which is the main reason I bought the package but she only applied very tiny amount of products on me. this is also the first time that I had a facial which doesn't including pore cleansing. She is either untrained or simply cutting corners. the noisy washing machine was on the entire time during my treatment. she was talking to another staff in a foreign language through the paper thin curtain most the time. She also went out the room a couple of times to answer the phone and didn't bother the shut the door for her half naked customer. my "90-Minute Luxurious Pamper Package" only took 70 minutes - including the time for waiting , facebooking, answering phone calls...The package was only $34. I got what I paid for I guess. But I think the whole idea of doing deals at this price is to do a good job so you get returning customers otherwise this is only damaging the business reputation and the money is not even enough to cover the costs.

Absolutely crap!! DO NOT GO HERE!! - Was dirty, hairs were on the beds. and worst of all I now have major bruises around my eyes!!! So unhappy and upset with the service and results from this place. My makeup doesn't even cover up the redness around my eyes, thats how bad it is!!!

Terrible dirty and nasty. I would say the only why they are getting business is from these vouchers on line to poor unexpecting customers.

I purchased a 3 hour pamper package which included a back massage, facial, manicure, pedicure, eyebrow tint/shape and eyelash tint. I couldn't even make an appointment at the Newmarket salon, as the lady hung up on me. She only offered me one appointment time and couldn't accept that this was not suitable to me. So I ended up driving to the other side of Auckland, to the Howick salon.

They started by soaking my hands and feet in a bucket of warm water, then coated them in wax. The back massage was okay. But I could not enjoy the facial as they also did my toes and fingers at the same time. I had 3 people working on me which was not relaxing at all. Their version of a pedicure was a quick file and one coat of colour. At least with the manicure I got two coats of colour and a top coat. Pity this part was done in the reception in front of other customers waiting for their appointments. I received no eyebrow tint and the shaping consisted of plucking about 5 hairs as I "didn't really need it" as I "have good eyebrows". Don't think this was the case as I had deliberately grown them out, thinking I was about to have them professionally shaped.

Overall, the standard of service was very poor and the 3 hours of relaxation I thought I was in for, turned out to be unrelaxing and cut short to two hours! They tried to make out they were doing me a favour by "not holding me up". Not really what you're wanting when you've booked a pamper package!

This place is horrible. 15min late opening and no apology was made. I was then made to sit in reception with my feet in a bucket of water for20min, not my idea of a pedicure!

I recently purchased a gift voucher for Skin Touch Beauty in Newmarket. It was a three hour pamper package and I bought it for my wife and her best friend. They were really looking forward to it too. The package included a massage, facial, pedicure, and manicure.
When we walked in for our 12:00 apt staff were eating their lunches in front door area. My wife said she had to ask them to change the sheets before her massage as they had hair and oil on them, the staff member tried to put a towel over the sheets instead of changing them so she had to say no I want clean sheets. They both said the spa was loud and full of noises and not very relaxing at all. The staff talked in their own language 90% of the time and made both my wife and her friend feel uncomfortable. They both said they were a bit rough when massaging their heads, and were disappointed in the pedicure. They said they put their feet in warm water then painted their toe nails, and that was it.
When I picked them up I was hoping to see big smiles on their faces from being pampered for three hours but I could tell they didn’t enjoy it and were trying to be nice since I did something nice for them.
