I was in Invercargill on holiday today and a battery warning light came up on the dashboard of my TOYOTA Prado. I tried the normal Toyota dealer but got no joy at all which was disappointing considering I have been a TOYOTA customer from the Manawatu for a very long time and had excellent service. However I tried the next garage up Yarrow St which was Autoplex Ltd and was given an exact diagnosis, price and options. The problem was the alternator and apparently it was terminal. They found me a new one, fitted it and gave me a generous discount, all within 3 hours, which was amazing as it was a Friday afternoon. The owner even said I could borrow his vehicle for the weekend if they could not get it going by the end of the day. So thank you Autoplex for a sterling effort.
