We are a small New Zealand publisher specialising in New Zealand history, mostly works that require a subsidy to enable books of historical significance to reach the general market. Started in 1969 with the publication of Norman Kirk's speeches, Towards Nationhood, we have published family and regional histories, personal memoirs, local body histories, and a small amount of fiction, such as our latest book, This Town...and other writings, an anthology of work from writers in Feilding.
