The team now need a seasoned sales hunter to join the team who can take ownership of their role to drive new business and grow existing business. This is a fantastic opportunity with a career pathway to become a Business Development Manager.

About The Role

The key purpose of the role is to drive sales and revenue for the business by establishing and developing new customer relationships. This position is completely phone based, and will see you prospecting SME businesses nationally, running the whole sales cycle end to end right through to close.

This role requires an eager hunter who is willing to learn, is highly motivated by their own success and desires career development. Highly advantageous if you have prior knowledge of the freight forwarding/logistics industry.

Duties
  • You will be making a high volume of outbound calls daily, with the outlook to promote freight forwarding solutions to prospective customers with the intention to close.
  • Consistently develop and maintain great relationships with prospective customers, understanding the specific needs and requirements to align them with the right solutions.
  • Working with their CRM – Salesforce.
  • Compiling lists of prospective client businesses using trade directories and other sources.
  • You will be prospecting, building effective sales pipelines with consistent follow ups ensuring strong customer relationships.
