With international representation this company operates within a wide variety of heavy diesel machinery, selling and servicing numerous leading brands of equipment. The Sales Support Co-ordinator role is based in Brisbane but does, however, require up to 4 weeks of training in New Zealand so the ability to travel is critical.



The role
Working closely with the sales and support teams, this is a role that requires quick thinking and administrative efficiency. The successful applicant will hold a pivotal role working across multiple divisions including production, logistics, design and sales.

Applicants working in either a motor industry or even engineering or industrial environment where the coordination of technical administration is important will find this role fascinating. You could be a Service Advisor, technical sales support administrator, or be involved in heavy or light automotive or engineering administration.

For that matter you could also hold a administration or support role in any number of companies that are broadly allied. Construction, engineering, and manufacturing and similar admin backgrounds are all of consideration.


The skills sought
Quick thinking and efficient with superior IT skills are the main attributes sought. You will need good general MS Excel skills and be able to navigate a range of software programs some of which may be familiar and others you will need to learn.

You will be involved in processing and coordinating sales orders, involved with debtors and the logistics of coordinating customer purchase orders. Preparing proposals, invoicing, and involvement with shipping orders and logistics are all part of the role.

There is also direct involvement with customers and working in with the engineering and sales teams.

You also need great people skills and excellent personal presentation. The role is interesting and diverse with plenty of scope to build on your career and grow.

Let's not forget you also need to be fresh thinking and proactive.
