About the role:

As the Live-in Duty Manager, you will be an integral part of our passionate team, responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of the hotel and maintaining the highest level of guest satisfaction. This is a unique opportunity, as the role involves residing on-site within the hotel premises, being readily available to address any guest needs or operational requirements that may arise during your shift or in emergencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reside on-site at the hotel, being on-call and available to handle any guest inquiries, concerns, or emergencies after hours.
  • Oversee daily hotel operations, ensuring all departments are functioning efficiently.
  • Coordinate and supervise front desk, and other relevant departments.
  • Complete guest bookings and check ins and resolve guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering exceptional guest satisfaction and service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Sound knowledge of hotel operations, reservation systems, and revenue management.
  • Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with composure.
  • Availability to live on-site and work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
