Job vacancy Commercial Manager

Beyond Recruitment are proud to be supporting the Whanganui District Council is their search for a talented Commercial Manager. About the Role
Reporting to the Capital Works Manager, the Commercial Manager is responsible for identifying and supporting the implementation of commercial opportunities and standards across council operations, with a particular focus on the property portfolio.  This will include contract negotiation strategies, property investment strategies and brokering new commercial opportunities.

What you’ll bring

• Five years minimum experience in Commercial Management with a track record of delivery.
• Hold a tertiary qualification in commerce, business, law or a related discipline.
• Demonstrate a high level of verbal and written communication skills whilst liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders such as external clients, suppliers, contractors, and peers.
• Confident and proven negotiation abilities
