This main contractor is a well-established player that are known for their inclusive and close-knit team culture. Their build portfolio is $5M - $50M, across commercial offices, warehousing, apartments, industrial, retail and community.  They currently have a vacancy for a Senior QS that is looking to take a commercial lead for a particular project and as well assist on others.   

Typically your duties will involve:
  • Preparing tenders, project administration, evaluating & costing of variations
  • Liaising with sub-contractors & clients
  • Financial reporting & cost monitoring / projections
  • Preparation, submission and negotiation of Interim and Final accounts
You will need to possess the following to apply:
  • A relevant Quantity Surveying qualification
  • Experience working for a Main Contractor, at least 15 years
  • Experience working on a range of new build commercial projects over $15M in value
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to extract value from negotiations.
  • You are motivated, possess a positive attitude and are a team player
