Job vacancy Intermediate Quantity Surveyor/PQS

This specialist building/project management/cost consultancy have a significant pipeline of work as a result of an increased demand for their services. They are a renown in their sector offering a host of property consultancy services acting as a one stop shop. They are highly professional, have significant and broad in-house technical expertise.

Some of their current projects/clients include large multi story apartments, schools, retirements villages, remediation, sizable fit outs and mixed-use commercial.

They are now looking to recruit an Intermediate QS that would be working with clients and involved with estimating, cost planning, procurement, bills of quantities, forecasting, variation analysis and post contract delivery, also the analysis of contractual disputes with respect to estimating building costs and delivery and justifying claims.

As a professional QS, you have a background worked in a PQS environment, of at least 5+ years.  You have strong communication skills and can work with various stakeholders. You are proficient with computer systems to a competent level and are a member of NZIQS or be looking to become a member of NZIQS or RICS. 

Salary $115K - $125K depending on experience.
