Job vacancy Intermediate Quantity Surveyor

This is a well-established commercial construction company have a full work pipeline ahead of them. Most of their projects are between the $5M - $40M contract value mark but with some exceptions.

Due to strong growth and a secure pipeline, they are now looking to bring on an Intermediate to work within a team and reporting to a senior QS and as well interacting with project managers to assist in the commercial management of a range of projects up to $40M in value. Your role will largely involve job management, subcontractor management, budget/variation management, final account work in terms of cost reporting and reconciliations. Also included is some estimating and tendering work.

This role would suit an applicant with at least 5 + years of commercial main contractor QS experience, including any design and build experience and with relevant tertiary qualifications. You are a natural communicator and build relationships at all levels with ease. You have strong negotiation kills and can read between the lines.

In return your efforts, you will be rewarded with a salary $100K - $110K subject to experience.
