Reviews of Brookdale Kennels & Cattery - Auckland City

I took my dog to stay here over the Christmas n New Year period 15/16 after i had read good reviews about this place. I have got to say that my entire experience with them was below tge standards. We were not acknowledged at all when we got there. We were not allowed to look around the facilities.
When i came to collect my dog after 9 days she came out all dozy and i got home to find she had been bitten on the nose enough to take the colour out, had bed sores on her ankles and had a weeping sore on her paw. They clearly didnt watch them. I gave bedding and blankets for them to use as i wanted my dog to have as many comforts from home and tge bad came home so disgustingly dirty and they hadnt given her the blankets. They would not accept us giving her bowl to eat from either as they said it was too hard to manage. Every other place i have been to has no problem. Also when i cane toncollect her, the staff were out the back yelling at the dogs (more than once) to shut up. I will not go back here and i will not recommemd.
