The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to be part of a well-known, highly regarded organisation, who pride themselves on providing high-calibre services across Aotearoa, and globally.
This permanent Customer Service Broker position will be responsible for engaging with stakeholders and the public, providing excellent customer service in the home, contents and motor vehicle insurance space.
You will be able to utilise your existing knowledge and skills and take on a new challenge in your career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Responding to their 0800 customer service line(s)
  • Assisting customers with new policies, claims, and updating details
  • Working with customers and insurers and acting as liaison on all broking issues, including claims and underwriting
  • Maintaining files and assisting with credit control
  • Escalation point for technical queries and complaints
  • Oversee the service team member's training and development requirements
  • Assist with interviews of potential new hires
  • Hours of work are Monday to Friday: 9am to 5.30pm.
About You
To be eligible for this permanent opportunity, you will ideally meet the following criteria:
  • Have at least two years’ experience in customer service based roles
  • Previous experience with high volume inbound calling, it would be ideal if you have an insurance or banking background
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport
  • A consultative and client service driven attitude. 
  • A proactive attitude and problem-solving capabilities
  • A track record of delivering excellence
  • Have New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
