A unique opportunity has arisen for a Branch Manager experienced in logistics and people leadership to join an expanding company based in Upper Hutt. This position will report to the Area Manager and is responsible for all operational activity, customer services activity, H&S, vehicle management and branch performance.

- Accomplish staff results by communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and implementing systems and overseeing productivity standards
- Responsible for the financial performance of the Branch to ensure revenue, expenditure and targets are met
- Mentoring and motivating staff, in addition to maintaining staffing levels through recruitment, training and promotion
- Ensure all customer enquiries and complaints are dealt with in line with the company KPI’s
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Report all Health and Safety incidents and promote a safe working environment
- Maintain compliance with relevant statutes, regulations, by-laws, and policies
Skills & Experience Needed:
- You will bring a wealth of experience, ideally from a Branch Manager position within the logistics, freight, trade, or transportation of goods industry
- Ability to self-manage own workload
- Excellent communication skills and ability to connect with a diverse range of people
- Having a hands-on and strong leadership style to engage all staff to achieve a high level of performance
- Someone with drive and a growth focus
- Class 4 and/or Class 2 license advantageous
