Job vacancy Building Services Engineer/Manager

This is an interiors and general main contractor that have year of experience in the Auckland build market.  They are specialists in delivering the most challenging and complex new build and refurbishments projects. They run a great team who are passionate executors with a can-do attitude. Projects vary in size and scale from $5M - $40M.

In the short-term pipeline is a healthcare sector project plus a couple of others under construction with a high degree of services that need the knowledge and experience of a Services Engineer. 

They are now looking for a Building Services Engineer/Manager that can take a lead on their main healthcare project plus act as a specialist across other relevant commercial projects in the business that require services knowledge input.

This role involves:

* Managing the delivery of the service design aspects of construction projects in accordance with the design brief
* Ensuring that engineer drawings, specifications, building codes and regulations are all met
* Coordinating the internal workings of the Mechanical, Fire and Electrical elements of the project
* Installation of building and critical services to ensure compliance
* Inspection of the installation of building services systems
* Working with the client project managers, architects and engineers to ensure project delivery

The ideal background for this role:

* Well-developed experience working on large scale commercial builds
* Strong technical knowledge and experience in the installation of building services across mechanical, electrical, hydraulics and fire
* Experience in planning and managing programs
* In-depth understanding in the application of various rating tools
* Advanced analytical & problem-solving skills
* A relevant tertiary qualification in HVAC Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering    

Salary - $150K - $180K+
