We are seeking a highly experienced Scrum Lead for a 12-month contract based in either Wellington, Auckland or Christchurch. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Jira and will be instrumental in optimizing our client’s agile processes and enhancing collaboration across teams. This is a hands-on role where you will lead by example, coach team members, and drive continuous improvement.
What you'll need to succeed:
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Scrum Lead, preferably in a banking/financial services environment.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Jira, including configuration, customization, and administration.
- Expert knowledge of agile principles, values, and frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Experience working with distributed teams is a plus.
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent certification.
