Job vacancy Senior Quantity Surveyor/Commercial Manager

They are now in need of a driven senior QS or commercial manager that can step into leading projects from a commercial perspective and as well as lead a team of 6-7 QS's The role encompasses both the estimating and overall cost management of projects.

Key components of this role involve:

• Leading estimating and quantity surveying functions
• Team mentoring and management
• Leading tender preparation
• Overall cost management monitoring
• Identifying commercial risks
• Reviewing, developing and implementing operating processes to identify opportunities to improve efficiencies

As an applicant, you have:

• 10+ years of Estimator/QS experience either from a main contractor with some interior’s projects as part of your portfolio or an interiors contractor with a strong understanding of tendering and contract administration
• Strong leadership and management skills
• You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, you can manage and guide intermediate level staff
• Highly analytical
• A sound understanding of the competitive market dynamics operating in Auckland
• A team player

Salary $170 - $200K
