The Company

This well-established main contractor has consistently delivered projects on quality and time throughout the BOP and Waikato. They are predominantly focussed on projects in the $5M - $40 region that are gained within design & build, the tender market and negotiated from existing clients. Their projects span industrial, retail, apartments, commercial, education, reclads, and healthcare. They are a streamlined contractor with a strong and positive culture.

Role

This is a role that has high input into the tendering process, ensuring constructability is sound and contributing significantly to ECI/D&B projects. It involves:
 

• Coordinating bid and tender submissions on price and non price
• Preparing construction and tender programmes
• Attending design meetings
• Contributing to buildability and construction methodologies
• Writing of methodologies and site management plans
• Ability to identify any value management opportunities.
• Stakeholder management between consultants, suppliers and the internal management team

Your Background

• At least 10 years worked in commercial construction as a Project Manager with strong design & build/preconstruction and bid management experience.
• Strong experience writing detailed construction programmes.
• Tertiary qualified in construction or an earlier trade qualification
• Excellent understanding of contracts
• Experienced in writing technical methodologies.
• Strong relationship builder and a commercially astute operator

Remuneration : $140K - $160K + vehicle
