• Senior Project Manager
• 12 months contract – mid June 2024 start
• Wellington based with 2 days’ Work From Home  
• $140ph + GST

We are currently seeking for a Senior Project Manager with experience in delivering projects in an Enterprise services portfolio.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

• Proven experience delivering both bespoke in-house software solutions and Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) solutions
• Demonstrated expertise in managing procurement processes, including Request for Proposal (RFP) activities.
• Outstanding communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Strong ability to tailor and apply both waterfall and agile delivery methodologies in project management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute project plans, budgets, and resource allocations, ensuring adherence to the IST standards and frameworks. Lead and manage project teams to achieve agreed time, cost, scope, and quality objectives.
• Work with IST and business stakeholders to define project scope, priorities, and timelines. Facilitate quality business case development for governance approval and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring proactive measures are in place to address potential challenges.
• Establish and manage vendor contracts to ensure optimal delivery of services and solutions, aligning with project requirements.
• Report project progress to the Delivery Portfolio Manager, prepare status reports, and provide specialist advice to senior management. Review completed projects to analyze outcomes and inform future strategic work.
