Maternity Direct - Auckland City

Same thing happened to me, credit card charged, received email from keryn a month ago that it would be delayed but never received the goods. I've purchased from them 3 years ago, went fine. Now their webpage doesn't exist! Guess the worst has happened, really sad.

Any further updates on refunds from this awful to deal with business?? I bought items almost 7 weeks ago, firstly I didn't get an invoice after purchasing and then Kerryn emailed to say she didn't have some items so I requested full reimbursement as I could not wait any longer and have not heard back as well. I see the website has been shut down as well so I am taking that she has either been scamming or run out of business. Very angry that I have lost all that money which I don't have the capacity to just throw away having a first newborn at home!

I have been scammed too. credit card charged and no goods ever arrived. Emails and calls went unanswered. THIS IS ILLEGAL IF YOU HAVE BEEN SCAMMED YOU NEED TO MAKE A COMPLAINT AT YOUR LOCAL POLICE STATION.

Don't order from this website. They charged my credit card 2 months ago and I never received my goods. Have been emailing them and at first I got a reply telling me about delays/goods out of stock/anticipated shipping dates but then never heard back again and still no goods after 2 months. Phone number doesn't work. either.

This company should not be allowed to trade. I have written a complaint to fair go and informed consumer affairs about them. I ordered something 6 January 2014, the money went out of my account the next day. They emailed to say they were out of stock and would email when they had sent it. 12 January Keryn emailed to say my order was dispatched. That was the end of the contact. They don't answer the phone or reply to emails. My last ditched attempt was the threat to fair go etc, well, my goods turned up two days later. I wish I had searched for reviews on Maternity Direct before I ordered some items for my daughter for Christmas. I would NEVER have placed the order!
30th November 2013 - Order placed
1st December 2013 - money debited to my card account
16th December 2013 - numerous e-mails sent in the last 2 weeks and voice messages left on an unanswered phone later, still no parcel and no response.

I get the feeling I have been scammed... and now have to look elsewhere for a Christmas gift with little time left. I read on another review site that refunds, if received, can take 6 months...

Horrible Horrible experience with Maternity direct. Ordered my goods well over a month ago.. When 3 weeks had gone by I sent an email to find out what was going on with my order.. No reply. Today a package has received and the undies are not what I ordered.
The undies I ordered were "Emma Jane" and they were supposed to be comfortable and stretchy.. the undies I received look like togs and there is no stretch in them whatsoever and they have a brading of "Tactel" not "Emma Jane" as advertised.. Not only that but I paid 6.50 for courier charges.. turned up in a $4 NZ post bag! with no return address or anything on it. Incredibly rude! Will not be recommending this company nor will I be buying from them again.

Evil company, no replies to emails,ph disconnected, no order 6 weeks later. No wonder they have such disgusting reviews :(

WARNING! DO NOT ORDER FROM MATERNITY DIRECT. I ordered over a month and a 1/2 ago and still have not received goods.All attempts to get a response through their website were in vain as no one answers the phone or replys to emails. I wish I had seen these reviews before I ordered.

I too had a terrible experience and will never use them again. Ordered nappies from them back in December and due to an error on their site was charged four times. They sent one pack of nappies and refunded on wrong transaction but now will not refund the other two. Absolutely no response from them and I am out of pocket $29. Thieves!

Do not order from Maternitydirect.co.nz items are poor quality and their customer service is apauling. Still waiting to get a refund on items that were sent back almost 2months a go.
