My driving belief throughout my many years in education, in many different roles, has been that every child can; “ identify a talent, a skill, an intelligence, through which they can become whatever they want to be” (Michael Alexander – The Learning Revolution).

For this to truly happen, students need knowledge of the fundamentals in curriculum areas, with literacy and numeracy as the essentials. They also need the opportunity to discover, to challenge themselves and to stretch their capability.
