Reviews of Tony Field Jewellers - Gisborne

Having recently moved to Gisborne from the south island I needed to get a ring resized and was directed to Tony Field Jewellers. Well, I was quite astounded as to what his shop has in stock. It was like a gift wonderland with beautifully displayed items in multiple quantities without looking overstocked. The tastefully laid out displays were a virtual kaleidoscope of wonderful jewellery, glassware, ornaments, lamps; oh too many things to name them all! I was most impressed as its been years since I came upon a treasure trove all under one roof like this. Once I am settled I will be returning to buy some accessories to make my home complete.
The only down side was I asked the female assistant if they sold secondhand items (I love old rings) and was told "no, everything is brand new". However, I see on their contacts page there is a mention of antiques, estate jewellry etc so not sure what to believe?
