Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society Inc

The Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society is a non profit animal welfare group.The society (UHARS) was founded in 1967 and provides temporary homes for stray and unwanted animals, including those that have been abandoned, until permanent homes are found. UHARS is charitable organisation which largely relies on the generosity of the public. Volunteers come from all walks of life to share a common goal – the protection and care of animals that can’t speak for themselves.
