Litecrete is a lightweight precast concrete system, half the weight of normal concrete, which uses pumice as the aggregate. For residential installations it offers rapid installation, built-in thermal resistance (insulation), rot resistance and high moisture resistance. The light weight (1250 kg/m3), excellent fire resistance and acoustic properties make it ideal for commercial construction where it can dramatically reduce the dead-load on the foundations and superstructure members.
