Company description
The Dog Protection Society is a registerd New Zealand Charity. The Dog Protection Society needing new homes. The Society was founded in May 1973 by Graham and Theresa Elizabeth Fitzpatrick. Theresa passed away in 1984 and the name of our dog-care complex was changed from St. Francis Dog Sanctuary to Theresa Elizabeth Holiday Home for Dogs. Graham and Theresa had been active in rescuing and re-homing dogs for many years. Situated on 6 acres, among beautiful native trees, in the hills above the township of Albany. A suitable dog in the family can teach empathy and compassion better than you can. The Society accepts a dog in the event of an owner's death. A happy life at the headquarters is given to your loved pet if an ideal new home cannot be found. By boarding your dog you are supporting

For over 30 years we have provided a standard of individual care especially suited to the needs of the long-term boarding dog, and very suitable to older, frail or very sensitive dogs.
