Reviews of Harris Transport Furniture Removals

I moved from Palmerston North to Wellington. My drawers and bed we're organised to be moved by this company. The payment of $225 was made. We had been told orally that the load would be picked up from my sister's in Palmerston North on Thursday PM. However, no contact was made by the driver or company at any point on Thursday. Tried to call the company and had to leave a message. Contact made again by me on Friday, and we're told that there was no promise of pick up on Thursday and could not give a time of pickup. They completely missed our time frame as my sister has gone travelling for a week, and now we cannot get the load. The most appalling service and communication i have ever seen from any company.Even in emails after this occurred they were rude and made it difficult to receive a refund, while saying that the driver will call and arrange a time for the following week - which we had already told them could not work as they could not collect the load from my sister's. I would never recommend this company to anyone and would go as far to tell people who are moving, to NOT use this company. Shocked at the ethics and general poor performance of this company.
