On 30th June 2013 The Anti-Money Laundering and Countering Financing of Terrorism Act 2009 legislation (AML/CFT) comes into effect.
The Act affects many in the financial sector including Money Transfers Operators (MTO). Pacific Ezy is treating this law with utmost seriousness and as a result has made necessary changes to its services.
If you, or anyone acting on your behalf sends or receives money through Pacific Ezy, acceptable proof of ID must be shown. Pacific Ezy reserves the right to decline or defer a money transfer until all information required is provided. Further information such as ‘source of funds’ and ‘purpose of transfer’ may also be required depending on the amount sent.
