Dotterel Technologies

Dotterel, a Techstars company, is a New Zealand-based developer of noise reduction and audio recording technology for UAVs. Since 2015, they have been providing award-winning solutions for the screen industry, security/defence, and noise mapping. Their innovative technology passively reduces the noise of UAVs in noise sensitive applications, while also allowing for real-time aerial audio recording directly from the UAV, making UAVs useable in applications and industries that previously could not use them due to the noise. In order to develop these solutions, Dotterel partners with various universities, including The University of Auckland, University of NSW, University of Sydney, and M.I.T.
