Company description
OSPRI is a not-for-profit company that was created through a merger between the Animal Health Board and NAIT. Its shareholders are DairyNZ, Beef+Lamb New Zealand, and Deer Industry New Zealand. Through this merger, OSPRI is able to better meet farmers' needs by providing protection and enhancement of the reputation of New Zealand's primary industries. The TBfree and National Animal Identification and Tracing programs are wholly-owned subsidiaries of OSPRI, and it is also supported by the Crown and the Ministry for Primary Industries.
