  • Ellerslie based role looking after onsite and remote support for a large team
  • Offer exceptional customer service across Windows, Microsoft 365, networking and cloud infrastructure

Our client is on the look-out for a switched on Level1 or Level 2 Systems Administrator with a minimum of 3+ year's experience to join their friendly and positive organisation based in the Ellerslie.

Our role will commence on 18th March 2024 and run thorough to 14th June 2024. You must be able to commit to the full length of the assignment.

This role is office based, so you will need to work from the office 8.30am - 5.00pm, 5 days per week, sorry no WFH days

If you have experience working in a Level 1 and Level 2 Service Desk Administrator role in the past we might just have the role for you.

If you are friendly, organised, with strong attention to detail, a good sense of humour and a "can do" attitude this opportunity is not to be missed!

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Resolving incoming IT queries
  • Serve as the first point of contact for internal customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
  • Prioritise and resolve IT concerns. Facilitate issues.
  • Offer user support and troubleshooting resolving IT incidents, including problem management and root cause analysis
  • Support team members with effective use of technology systems
  • Install and configure computer hardware, software, systems networks, printers, scanners. Perform hands on fixes at the desktop level, including installing and upgrading software, installing hardware, implementing backups and configuring systems applications
  • Perform maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations and printers
  • Administration and reporting
  • Be approachable and has excellent communication skills
  • Be a team player who loves to help others, with a can do attitude.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • 3-5 years in a similar role
  • IT experience including Windows and Microsoft 365
  • Indepth knowledge of hardware and software
  • Have strong communication skills
  • Be able to work under pressure and deliver results
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate, presentable, personable with a positive attitude
  • Strong attention to detail with a top work ethic
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Be proactive and enjoy satisfying customers
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
