• Senior Java Developer
• 8 months contract
• Auckland or Wellington Based – Hybrid working

New contract opportunity for a Senior Java Developer.

About the role:

• Write quality, maintainable code with extensive test coverage in a fast-paced professional software engineering environment.
• Be involved in the full software development life cycle, from feature planning and estimation, through development, to delivery, testing and support.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

• Experience in microservice development, using technology such as Spring Boot, Java, JSON and XML data formats. Basic UNIX commands
• Experience with the REST-based APIs design and development of APIs
• API, SOAP & SAAS Integration experience
• Knowledge Jenkins CI automation tool or another CI / CD tools
• Banking or Financial Services

You must be in New Zealand with the legal right to work.
