The Company

My client is a nationwide business with operations all around New Zealand with a focus on education sector. Going through a period of change, they are looking for an experienced, hands-on financial accountant to join the team for 6-8 months.

The Role

As the Senior Financial Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Financial Controller and working alongside the Finance team.

Duties

· Monthly Accounts

· Consolidation

· Month end

· NZ Tax

· IFRS-16

· GST

· Balance sheet Reconciliations

Skills & Experience

• Experience with large ERP
• Excellent Excel skills
• Communication skills
• Keen eye for process improvement
• Strong financial acumen
