Job vacancy Workshop Assistant

Drake is looking for a new team member to join this Hutt based fabrication workshop.

This is an entry level role and training will be provided but ideal applicants will have some basic skills in the following areas.

• An understanding of basic fabrication.
• Be comfortable reading basic plans and cutting metal with various tools.
• Capable of following safe practises in the folding light metal.
• completion of the end product to an excellent finish.
• Have a good eye for detail and a strong commitment to Health and Safety.
• You will be a committed team player and have the chance to work with a great existing team.
• You'll be able to prove your reliability and good work ethic through solid work references.

• Close to the train and bus network, public transport will be appealing to many applicants.
• There is a good pay rate on offer.
• The days of work will consistently be Monday to Friday with a 8AM start and 5PM finish.
• initially starting out as a temporary assignment, if the current workload stays the same or potentially increases, there may be an opportunity this role to become permanent.
