Our client is an award-winning South Island owned and operated architectural residential building firm who are looking for an experienced foreman to lead a team based in the Mackenzie District. 

They are well established and have a pipeline of work booked up for the next 24+ months.

The role:

Reporting through to the GM (based in Canterbury) you will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations onsite including team leadership. You will be a key figure in project delivery, ensuring excellence is delivered on what are high end and innovative residential builds. This is an "on the tools" role.

Who are you?:

You are already working at foreman level (trade qualified) but there is something missing in terms of what you are currently doing vs what you want to be doing - you want to work for a passionately and proud run building company who are continuously recognised for both their service and results.

Ideally you will have been exposed to high-end residential builds and while this is not essential you will need to show a genuine interest in stepping up into this area of work.

You are a great people leader and lead from the front in all that you do. You have first rate co-ordination skills and get things done through successful project management and keeping your eye on the ball at all times.

Your communication skills will rely heavily on confidence and approachability - you will be dealing with a wide range of people so you must be relatable to a diverse group.
