The employer, the role, and the requirements
Located at one of New Plymouth's premium franchise vehicle dealerships, this site is known as one of the best in the region.

Due to the nature of the role, you would need to be a qualified automotive technician with an automotive trade background ideally with prior, proven experience as a Workshop Foreman, Workshop Controller, or Assistant Service Manager.

You could also be a well experienced/senior technician wanting to take the next step in your career.

You will work alongside the Service Manager to distribute jobs, deal with customers, and assisting technicians.

Additional skills sought:

• Clear communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience on a range of brands will be considered though preference will be given to those with volume and/or Asian vehicle brands
• Team player
• Clean drivers license
• Solid mechanical aptitude and diagnostics ability
• Attention to detail
• Strong work ethic and stable employment history
