Job vacancy Senior QS - Residential/Density Residential

This is a residential builder that are both  customer design and build as well as partnering with Kainga Ora for social housing and as well as private developers. They are systemised, have preferred contracts with trade merchants and have forward work planning processes down pact. Adding to this they have a bright team in place with a great focus on staff welfare and wellbeing ensuing that their staff are looked after.

They are now looking for a Senior QS to provide project commercial leadership.

Your role involves:

• Completing job estimates/tenders
• Contract administration
• Financial reporting and variations
• Orders preparation
• Supplier management/negotiating
• Team management
• Site visits during construction

Key background:

• 8 + years of residential QS experience including knowledge of NZ Building Code and construction contracts including 3910. 
• Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in CM/QSing
• Top communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
• Strong financial nous, excellent pricing systems skills
• Accuracy
• Drive and want to build a career within this company
