My client is a not-for-profit Aged care organisation based in the heart of Auckland suburbs and have been in operation for over 100 years.
At the core of this organisation is their residents and their wellbeing and quality of life whilst ensuring they feel at home and welcomed.
An integral part to the smooth running of the facility is the efficiency and standards that are put in place on a daily basis.

About the Role
This role of operations manager is to manage the co-ordination of resident care through providing effective leadership whilst upholding the values of the organisation. Constant review in the quality of care provided, taking feedback, and using this information to operate continuous improvement philosophy whilst managing any associated risks to residents or the organisation.
Key responsibilities in this role include:

• Leadership and coordination of resident care
• Improving and monitoring the quality of care
• Leading and motivating the team of Registered Nurses and care partners.
• Working with the roster Administrator to ensure quality balance.
• Managing medical supply costs

About you
It is essential you are a Registered nurse with a current practicing certificate, have current or previous experience managing large teams, have a passion for aged care and understand the benefits to creating a culture where residents feel valued and welcomed. You will have at least 5 years’ experience working in a similar environment in New Zealand.
